FAQ: Asheville Wedding Videography

It’s best to book 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding months in Asheville like May, June, September, and October. Popular dates go quickly! However, if it’s a last-minute request, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I may have availability!

While Asheville is my home base, I also film weddings across the East Coast. Typical locations include Western North Carolina, Cashiers/Highlands, Waynesville, Hendersonville, Boone, Charlotte, The Outer Banks, South Carolina, Virginia, and Eastern Tennessee.

It depends, but typically you’ll receive a 5 – 10 minute highlight film with most packages. I also provide longer edits that can be anywhere from 10–40 minutes. There are options to purchase “video shorts” as well.

100%, Yes. I have a vast network of local wedding photographers in Asheville. I collaborate seamlessly with photographers throughout the day to make sure we both get great shots. I also offer a combo package with a trusted local photographer in an attempt to save couples money on wedding photo/video services.

You know it! Drone coverage is available at most venues, weather and regulations permitting. Asheville’s mountain views make for incredible aerial shots! (Sadly… some Asheville venues don’t allow drones, such as the Biltmore.)

Turnaround time on my contracts is listed as  45– 90 days. However, most of the time, the videos are done within 3 weeks.

Absolutely! I live in downtown Asheville and love meeting couples in person when possible. We can grab coffee, lunch, or preferably a beer at a brewery! I typically schedule a phone call with every couple to introduce myself before their wedding.
